LENNOX Gas Furnaces

Lennox offers a wide range of furnace types to cater to various heating needs, ensuring optimal comfort and efficiency. Here are the Lennox furnace types available:

  1. Gas Furnaces: Lennox gas furnaces are known for their high efficiency and reliability. They come in single-stage, two-stage, and modulating models, offering precise temperature control and energy savings.
  2. Oil Furnaces: Lennox oil furnaces are a dependable choice for homes without access to natural gas. They provide consistent warmth even in extreme cold conditions.
  3. Electric Furnaces: Electric furnaces are an efficient heating option, particularly in regions with milder winters. Lennox electric furnaces offer quiet operation and reliable performance.
  4. Dual-Fuel Furnaces: These systems combine a heat pump with a gas or oil furnace, allowing homeowners to switch between energy sources for cost-effective heating depending on outdoor temperatures.
  5. Multi-Speed Furnaces: Lennox multi-speed furnaces provide flexibility in airflow, improving indoor air quality and comfort while conserving energy.
  6. Variable Speed Furnaces: Variable speed furnaces adjust their blower motor’s speed to match heating demands precisely, providing consistent temperatures and enhanced efficiency.
  7. Modulating Furnaces: These furnaces continuously adjust the heat output, minimizing temperature fluctuations and maximizing energy savings

Daikin horizontal and vertical cabinet unit heaters provide specifying engineers and facility managers with simple heating solutions for industrial and commercial applications to meet specific heat-throw and heat-spread requirements. Our horizontal unit heaters feature horizontal louvers that can be adjusted to lengthen or shorten heat throw and/or decrease or increase the mounting height. Adjustable vertical louvers can also be used in combination with horizontal louvers to permit complete directional control of heated air. Our vertical cabinet unit heaters are particularly desirable for heating areas with high ceilings and where crane ways and other obstructions dictate higher mounting of heating equipment.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
  • Joule Heating:  The process of electrical current passing through a conductor to generate heat.
  • Heat Treating:  The process of heating and cooling metals in an effort to change its physical and mechanical properties to generate heat.
  • Central Heating Systems: The system by which heat is distributed through a home or business.
  • Specific Heat Capacity Heating: Heating based on the specific heat capacity of materials, which determines how much energy is needed to raise their temperature

The forced air system is the most popular and uses ducts to distribute heat from a furnace throughout your home or business.  This system is popular due to its efficiency and ability to quickly adjust room temperature.

Gas furnaces typically heat homes faster and are more efficient in colder climates, while electric systems are generally easier and cheaper to install, with lower maintenance needs.

  • Electric furnace systems have a lower installation cost
  • Gas furnace systems have a lower operation cost
  • Electric furnace systems have a 100% efficiency | Gas systems have a 98% efficiency
  • Electric furnace systems require less maintenance than the an gas system.
  • Both gas and electric furnaces have a lifespan of 15-20 years.
  • The environmental impact of gas furnaces create greenhouse gases while the electric system does not.
  • The safety of an electric furnace system is much better than the gas furnace due mostly due to the gas and potential combustion.
